We Barely Have The Time To Tune [12/17/09]

Two Joes, two Andys, one Danny.  So much depth in yesterday’s session:

We tried to tune an acoustic guitar using a Mac.  But one of us couldn’t hold the mic on the 12th fret.  So we got an electric guitar to test how in tune the acoustic was.  No good.  So we tried using an iPhone tuner to tune the electric guitar to see if the acoustic could be dealt with.  We were unsure of the results, so we used the guitar application of a different iPhone and attempted to tune it using the first iPhone’s tuner.  I don’t think I heard the results.  We then discussed pitch-shifting as a solution down the road.

Brent did very well last night; however at one point, we had to stop him from standing in the way of his own progress.

It was suggested that there is a “backseat slavedriver” among us.  That person must know who he is.  He must change.
