No one wants to see “Glen” in a photo with a cat on his head, but it was that kind of night last night. Les Debutantes were in rare, productive form as they finished up their song for the new Paducah Bedtime Stories album that’s about to get released. Man, is this a great cassette! I’m so glad we were asked to write a song for the kids of Paducah. Some of the other acts that were so generously asked to be included are Ultra Pulverize, Jessie & the Ripperz, Roscoe Puente, The Ass of Bass [Brent Stewart] and Bittersweet.
Some of the critical issues from last night: It seems like Danny’s metronome wasn’t working right, because he couldn’t get specific songs to line up. Compounding the problem was Andy Hurt’s inability to “do it right.” Hilarity ensued when they suggested I should re-demo one of the songs. That’s rich! Y’all can just go on somewhere! …You don’t tear down the great oak just ’cause the dogwoods are wobbly!
I believe Brent failed in some way as well yesterday, but the details escape me. Merry Christmas!

Well, I think the cat is out of the bag. Note that “Keddiz” writes this post, but then mentions how it was suggested that “I”, as in “Glen”, re-record the song! Schizophrenics should not be allowed to run for our Mayoral office.
Also, I welcome Andy’s cat pic. POST, ANDY HURT! POST!
What do you mean? I see no such contradiction. The sentence about “Glen” did not relate to the rest of the post. You’re looking for something that isn’t there, Brent.
I SEE PATTERNS, MAN!
