No pictures today, I’m afraid. I forgot the camera, but there wasn’t much to take pictures of that you haven’t already seen: the back of Danny’s head, Glen making faces, things being placed on the cat (the cat loves this, btw.)
The lion’s share of the evening was given over to “Hey is for Hearses”. Danny laid down a blue million guitar tracks, including some hot licks and about 6 layers of the fastest, most wrist-shattering “chugga chugga” metal I’ve ever heard!
It was already sounding epic, but then Glen put down some positively evil church organ and strange backing vox, just to round it out. Next weel we’ll probably do a mix and that sucker will be done.
Apparently the Ultra Pulverize boys have accepted our challenge to THEIR challenge, and “Snack Attack” will be under way shortly, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
For you Johnny Quaid watchers out there, head over to www.theravennacolt.com to see what’s up. This is the band that I play bass in. The final mixdown session is coming up next week at the Funeral Home, so that puppy should be in your hot little hands before you know it.
