Debutantes related
***************06/04/08
If it can’t be stressed enough, why extend an effort? For the past three decades, various members of Les Debutantes have been mining the territory for sharp curves for eager auto-ears to tunnel down. It continues to be distressing to many that ideas are pushed away in favor of a kind of….make-shifting toward achievement.
That’s why Centennial will fail. Noble efforts are not lasting achievements. Time spent accrues no interest. Waste is not wanted. Fortunately, there are quitters along the way releasing Good Luck Pieces.
Beginning in the Fall of 2006, quitters of Les Debutantes, former toiling Mentennial miners, will offer what has already been genre-stamped as “Good Luck Pieces.” Nothing like Zydeco, GLPs bring out the good in all of us through song by the singing, writing by travelers, and Fie from the philosophizing. More info will slop in, but suffice it to say that Gemble’s Tacit Anti-Candy will stay on the shelves waiting for analysis. Expect a preview soon. Meanwhile, I can’t help you.
